  4. It's never to much like my dad says land is the only thing they're not making more of . When its gone its gone
  5. Grampy is it by chance off Williow rd there are some slammers in the pine bush . If you don't want to disclose location no worries trust me . Keep in mind that 4j is bow only no cross bow at all .
  6. You can get attachments, I believe they are 10/32 seconds threads. Yes adding a witness mark to your ram rod is a must do.
  7. When your neighbor on one side of you is a KC fan and your other neighbor on the other side is a Bills fan ,yourself being a jets fan you just go home and help kids with homework and wait for dinner to be made .
  8. Standings will be tight for sure after this week
  9. BH is a smokeless progressive burning powder and relies on a pressure curve to be effecient and accurate shot to shot.
  10. They all good https://www.barnesbullets.com/muzzleloaders/ And another premium https://www.thorbullets.com/
  11. I think only the guys in Texas have luck!!
  12. Depends on gun and recoil pad . My omega x7 with simms laboratory recoil pad eats the recoil all day, my NEF heritage is a little more noticeable with 350gr hornady FPB, my white thunderbolt with 460gr lead conical is not bad at all and that's a big bullet . I think 12ga 3in shells kicks more but maybe I'm wrong .
  13. Whether you measure by volume or weight just stay consistent Just make sure you know the conversion multiplier 1 volumetric grain of powder is equivalent to 0.7 grains by weight. 100 grains by VOLUME = 70 grains by WEIGHT. 80 grV × 0.7 = 56 grW 90 grV × 0.7 = 63 grW 100 grV × 0.7 = 70 grW 110 grV × 0.7 = 77 grW 120 grV × 0.7 = 84 grW (Maximum Load
  14. I melted mine down, told my dentist to use for my replacement fillings ,he said they are not even good for that!! ( fellow hunter and joking for my replacement fillings no American dental association violation taking place )
  15. As long as neither of us are using power belts life is great !! My personal favorite is the speer deep curl in .452 454 300gr model number 3974. https://www.greentophuntfish.com/speer-deepcurl-hp-reloading-bullet-3974-454-casull-300gr-452-50-box/
  16. The magnim xtp won't expand at muzzleloader velocities, the standard xtp will for certain.. But as Buckmaster stated he isn't a fan. No hard feelings but I think you'll be hard pressed to find any other bullet that has taken more white tail in north America. 80 to 90gr by volume a good starting point . In most cases more powder isn't needed at all for optimum accuracy.
  17. Shelves are clean in local stores and on line all over . I hope the shortage ends soon
  18. Ditch the grease stick and use Teflon tape I'd go with .452 300gr xtp all day long in a crush rib sabot. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/hornady-xtp-pistol-bullets?searchTerm=Xtp
  19. Yes, .451 .452 and .458 are commonly used but buy the proper sabot for the bullet intended . Those green crush rib are for .40 cal bullets . You might find better pricing on harvesters site to . I myself like a 300 to 400gr bullet but that's pure preference
  20. And practice, long range shooting is a whole different ball game
