    I've left bh209 loaded in my muzzle loader from opening of north season to the last day of gun. Always goes bang. Any loose powder tube will work it doesn't need to be Lanes. Easier with pellets many will debate including myself ,but its close . I still use t7 pellets but hate swabbing the barrel due to crud ring every 2nd or 3rd shot No bore butter needed its a rust inhibitor in my opinion.     Most or alot use Lanes tubes The bh209 plug will work with all powders

    That stock cva will work with t7 and pyro and all black powder but not bh209. You need a different plug to shoot bh209 100% of the time https://www.muzzle-loaders.com//cva-qrbp-209-breech-plug.html

    If you get that cva wolf you need the cva or western powder bh209 plug, the stock plug won't ignite bh209. Yes you would need a powder tube ,its not that t7 and pyro are bad ,but bh209 is a progressive burning power so you don't need to swab the barrel aftrr each 1,2, 3 shots . You get a crud ring at the breach if using t7 Primers are around but like ammo are hard to find. Best bullet I wish I new that answer. My favorite bullet is the speer deep curl in 300gr in a crush rib sabot.

    Bh209 is in my mind the best but doesn't come in pellet form. T7, pyrodex next if using pellets . Primers will be hard to come by but there are so many.

    Unless you can find the blue tip bonded version of the TC shock wave im not a fan of the yellow . Basically a SST made by hornady for TC

    I believe in science I'll leave it at that . My wife ,a school teacher just tested positive. This is a 44 year old women in tip top shape, runs marathons and goes to the gym daily. She has been locked in our bedroom since Sunday she can barely mustar the energy to get out of bed to use the bathroom or shower . I'm not looking to get in a pissing match with no one, but if you think your invincible think again .

    Any TC, Cva or knight you buy will be a shooter . 45 or 50 is pure preference, lots say a fast twist 45 is their choice . For me I like the 50 Hard to beat https://www.muzzle-loaders.com/

    I couldn't agree more. I know of friends and family who have died from it, some with issues some none at all. For me ,I got two girls and I dam sure plan on walking them down their wedding isle when that time comes. I've watched my dad beat lung cancer and we surely don't want covid to beat us . I'll get the vaccine when offered , my dad will be getting his shortly himself

    I wonder if this is the new normal as far as pricing goes . 9mm was 18cents or so now its 60 cents to 80 cents for the cheap stuff . Self defense forget it ,a 60 cent bullet will still make you say ouch vs a 1.50 bullet
