    Caught our first catfish of trip. Slow going but enjoying warm weather.

    First lake Marion catfish after 2 days. My son reeled him in. Caught on chicken liver and smell shad marinaded in sun 2 days. Didn't weigh him.

    Today fishing with wife and one son. Other son on computer or cell phone in house. 78 degrees. No fish but still better then cold.

    I see ribs. Are those risotto balls? Is that a fish dish with arrugulla and tomatoes and mozzarella or feta?

    Got skunked today and tonight for catfish on lake Marion from my rented lake house dock. Fun just drinking and relaxing even if I don't catch anything. Tomorrow is a new day. Maybe my kids will at least get a bit.

    At a rest area in Jersey past Newark exits. Fueling up.

    On the road in Saratoga now next stop just outside nyc in Jersey. For gas and coffee. Eta 7:30. But lots of stops to stretch and gas and coffee.

    We slaved over this lol! General TSO chicken, sesame chicken, vegetable lomein, crab ragoons, egg rolls, bbq pork, and pork fried rice for kids.

    Ordering Chinese food a Christmas story stole except delivery style. Pics to come. Leaving tomorrow on vacation didn't want to waste a big meal.

    On road tomorrow can't wait to hit the lake house dock to fish. Gonna stop at local bait shop for info on what set up to use and bait there hitting on.

    Got spoiled by my wife. New muck artic sports boots. New slippers and bathrobe and new Costas sun glasses.

    My kids couldn't wait to get me to open a gift early. They love the commercials and laugh all the time. Well here they are I'm not embarrassed supposed to keep me cool. Duluth armachillos lol. Gotta love the sense of humor.
