Goes off and kills all the small bucks but not when the big ones come by. There a reason I kill the first buck that comes by now cuz the gun won't kill the big one anyway.

Brought rifle to gun smith today he took it out shot it said loaded good ejected good. Said could be ammo. Said gun was warm could have been cold. Told me I probably wasn't meant to kill that buck. I laughed said maybe. He said bring it in after season and he'll do a in-depth cleaning. So will do that looked at rifles on shelf not very many and no rifle ammo.

Been there accessed off old closed bridge on donnattsburgh Rd of Austin and brandish Rd of pine Grove. Seen more deer in there.

I love the 06 caliber only caliber I've shot hunting deer besides 3030 or 20 gauge. That I shot at deer with. Used 17 hmr nuisance hunting a grape vineyard. Just need to find ammo it's in short supply.

Yes optics and don't really care about action. I'll adapt. Ammo is very hard to come by. Crazy. I have 2 older model 94 30-30s Winchester and a Sears roebuck. Retired my dad's and grandfather's will be my boys they can decide when they reach the age. I had a Ruger American chambered in 308 shooting whitetail rounds red white blue box. Couldn't get it to hit consistantly. All around a mud bucket top. I sold the rifle not b4 passing a bruiser up on state land hunting the independence river wild forest. Cuz I didn't feel confident with it. Same way I feel now about my 06 hits a baseball or smaller at 100 yards but must have hit something I didn't see when aiming at buck on Saturday. The jamming sucks.
