  1. A friend of my Dad's once shot a 3 legged gray fox, it was completely healed over. He must have lived like that for years....It was a really cool full body mount.
  2. The property is part of an estate, there are minors involved in the will. Therefor, for the first year the state would only allow it to be sold for what they deemed "fair-market value", which was $72,900. A full year has passed, so now it can be sold for less. It will be marked down to $59,900 within the next day or two. For such a small amount $, we just want to sell this property so that th estate can finally be closed. It's a pain to worry about somebody mowing the lawn, etc. http://www.realtyusa...sName=BuffaloNY I believe it is still furnished somewhat, including a washer & dryer. SOMEBODY MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER!! We have gotten offers from Investors in the low 40's, but would prefer not to sell to them.
  3. How low we gotta go? Could be used for residential, commerical, investment, etc.
  4. No, you won't because you will be embarassed. You will just never respond.
  5. I'd be hunting daylight to darkness every saturday and sunday, like I do during shotgun season and crossbow(late ml) season, but I dont bow hunt. Instead I'll go to Wyoming early October and Arizona late October.
  6. I am honestly really surprised at the reactions on this thread. I assumed the illegal baiters, poachers, etc stay off of sites like this. I hoped that the majority of the people on this site were people who hunted LEGALLY. Regardless of whether this guy hunts or not, it is 100% illegal to bait. Why does everyone seem cool with it? I hunt in Putnam County where there is no farmlands, no good food sources. If I threw down a bag of corn it would be gone within hours. I gaurantee if I baited, I would shoot a buck at first light opening day every single year. However, I would be completely embarassed to put one of these deer on my wall, knowing I CHEATED AND DID IT ILLEGALLY. Baiting seems to be cool with many people here, I just don't get it?
  7. better remove the bait before posting on MLS, unless you want to get fined?
  8. It means, LEARN HOW TO ID AN ANIMAL. If only 1/2 the body was in the pic, we woulda heard mt. lion, rattlesnake, polar bear, etc.
  9. Come on man....it can only be a fox, dog, or coyote....any other guesses are just stupid.
  10. BUYER BEWARE: If you buy this land and don't check every square inch before hunting it, you might be hunting on property with illegal baiting. I highly doubt that anyone who illegally baits, only uses it a salt lick in 1 spot. Think about it....
  11. 1. If you need to bait to get pics of deer on your property, thats a bad sign. 2. If you bait and only get pics of does and fawns, thats a bad sign. Nontheless, I will take it....................for $250 (no typo here).
  12. I meant the guy with the above quote, not you. As a self-proclaimed "Weatherby Collector", he says they are "so over-priced its ridiculous" and that "$2500-$3000 takes them both and even that is a lot". Meanwhile, I got many messages from members regarding the $5400 gun and how they wish they had the $, because they would buy it in a second and how the gun is very very special. The $2,400 gun sold for $2,200 + shipping. So I guess that means the $5400 gun should sell for $300 or less, right?
  13. $12K Dall Sheep hunt is fair-chase. $60K Bighorn Sheep hunt is fair-chase. $3K Aoudad Sheep hunt is FENCED IN. 100% success guaranteed. Dom- for under $3K you have many many many choices for a FAIR-CHASE hunt for a whitetail or mule deer (WITH HIGH SUCCESS RATES). Do some research!
  14. Is this a joke? Your wife doesn't know the finances....yikes
  15. Nice Brows, definitely a shooter! How many seconds is your trail cam?
  16. The rope-cocking aid cuts the weight in half. 200lb xbow becomes 100lbs. Its like deadlifting. I can cock my xbow without the aid, but the rope-cocking aid makes sure you are cocking the string straight. If off to the side a little, it wont shoot accurate. Excalibur's make great crossbows, You can get them at 150lb, 175lb, 200lb, 225lb(not legal in NY).
  17. Lucky you and your farm fields! I'll be 501 ft. away from houses all gun season.
  18. I got 3N and 3N, but I won't use them, never do. Unless I see a crazy looking albino doe or something.
  19. Thanks. I am not planning to shoot this gun everyday or anything like that. Just want to familiarize myself with it and carry it on my hip when crossbow hunting in the middle of nowhere, for piece of mind. 95% of the time it will be in a safe in my drawer at home.
  20. From S&W directly: Sir The model 60 is in large demand. We are making and shipping them on a regular basis. We are trying to meet the demand the best we can. Wayne Goodwin Customer Service 2100 Roosevelt Avenue Springfield, MA 01104 Tel. 800-331 0852 Ext 4125 FAx 413 747 3317
  21. Final sale was $2200 for rifle & scope. 104 rounds of ammo was throw in for free. Buyer paid additional $110 for FFL fees and shipping/insurance fees. $2,310 total sale price. For those who thought it was over-priced, I guess not.
  22. I appreciate all the input. What would you all suggest then for a .357mag revolver that doesn't have a long 4-6" barrel?
