My Dad’s hearing is terrible even with hearing aids. It’s all from shooting as a kid inside indoor gun ranges in NYC and also outside without ear protection. It’s really sad. I wear ear protection even to mow the lawn Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I got a grey crossman pellet gun as a kid. It had a scope and It was amazing for so many years in the backwoods. I killed countless critters. It worked off CO2 cartridges and I used pointed pellets. I would load the co2 down the front but not puncture until I laid eyes on the first kill or the day. Then I did the last turn to puncture it. Each shot after was less and less powerful. I think I got like 30 shots to a CO2. Off the top of my head i killed: Raccoons, crows, squirrels, chipmunks, and a massive variety of bird species. I kept one coon skull and it had a bunch of pellets lodged in it everywhere. Pretty crazy. I would wait till No cars in sight before running across the road to more patches or woods. for sure. He keeps growing a little bit. and I think he might be bigger than the pics appear. Maybe he cracks 110". regardless, I would very happily arrow him 9/15 if given the chance.

Wow interesting. I've seen PA collared deer on trail cam, but not in person. I got into the Aquarion Water bowhunting program and waiting to hear back on the local town one too.

I use ONX moreso for property boundaries and to find the names of landowners, but the actual lines seem to be off lots of times (cutting through pools, etc.). That said I still pay $100/year for it for all 50 states

Probably a dispute over the killing shot. The guy who killed both the moose and the guy is still alive.

I never water daily. I do a deep water (45-60min) every 3 days if it doesn't rain. Sometimes morning, but lots of time I wait for shade around 5pm to water. it's still early enough that it's not right before dark but sun is blocked. Not sure where are located, but its 98 degrees here in CT again today. I think deep watering a few times per week is better than daily.
