  1. Last night out for the week. Caught a few. Scenery was nice. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. No fishing tonight but still on the water. Really hot this afternoon so we just swam and floated and drank and ate and drank. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Only got an hour on the lake after dinner tonight but was fortunate for this fatty...tackle box is 16"...also had two loons pop up behind me and while taking picture had a bald eagle fly over. Both are in the shot but, you can't really tell what either is. The black dot middle left is eagle and two black dots on the water are the loons Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. Finally got up to camp. Went out after dinner last night and the bass were biting. Caught 7 in the 14 - 17 inch range. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. No food in fridge...heading to camp for a week tomorrow morning. Dug a strip steak out of back of freezer with some grilled bread, hummus and pickles. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. I don't think the 3-2-1 method will get it there for a pork shoulder. You need to get it to an internal temperature temp of 195 - 200 degrees. If you're looking to cheat, I would hit it with heavy smoke for 2-3 hours at around 250 degrees on the smoker then into a Dutch oven with a beer and into the oven at 325 for another 2-3 hours. During the winter I do pork shoulders in the oven and they are usually done in 4-5 hours.
  7. Just me and my daughter tonight....freezer dinner....clam strip roll and chicken tenders with some cole slaw and farmers market pickles Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. I like but that looks way too healthy. Tell me you had a beer with it..... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. Hot dogs with meat sauce. One carolina style with cole slaw Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. Planted on 5/31. Plants were pretty small like 4" tall. Pretty happy so far. Tomatoes are Roma plums. Cherry peppers, Hungarian wax and lady bells in the second pic. Cubanelle and cukes planted on the corner of the deck. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. Big Mac style burgers.. 1 half pound patty Marie's thousand island Lettuce Cheese Cucumbers in Italian dressing Onions On a hard roll (Sung to the jingle) My daughter finished hers before I was half done! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. Can't go wrong with pork shoulder. Very forgiving while getting the hang of the new rig.
  13. Got some bacon and cheddar burgers from a local butcher and put some carmelized onions on top Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. Grilled pork chops with chipotle onions and avocados Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. It's getting plenty of juice... brand new fully charged battery and wire terminals are clean. I did a little YouTube search and the problem might be the top gear on the starter being gummed up. Watched a video and gonna take it apart, clean and lubricate and see if that works. If it doesn't, pull start works. Not gonna spend money on a new starter.
  16. Started on the second pull. Unfortunately I had to pull. It has electric start and the starter is not engaging flywheel. It just spins without popping up to engage. Not a big deal as it pulls real easy but the electric start is pretty nice... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  17. Good luck with the sale. Looks like a nice cruiser.
  18. Yup. More than a year not registered and you have to go to DMV office. Luckily mine only expired a month ago and trailer registration is still good.
  19. Just renewed registration online. Took less than 5 minutes. They give you a 10 day temporary to print out. What are the chances I will receive in mail within 10 days? lol
  20. Going online today to try to get it registered. Not sure what they will do about the sticker...Hopefully I will get a temporary that I can print.
  21. Deep V and 20" deep transom. She has held up well over 30 plus years. Other than cosmetics, boat is like new. The Yamaha has been awesome also.
  22. As a teenager when we got the boat, I always bugged my dad to upgrade to 25hp but he never went for it...lol. I agree, for fishing most ADK lakes, this is the perfect size boat. Can handle a moderate chop but can get in the shallows to fish the pads also. Thank you for the tip on the plugs for start up. Will definitely do.
