I'm in 8h Leroy area we have good numbers where I am but this land is new to me like a month ago so I'm still learning it. Hoping for a monster buck got a nice doe already.

Kinda wanted my first deer taken with a bow to be a big buck but when this dandy doe stepped into the perfect spot I decided to fill one of my doe tags. Sorry not the best picture. She's a big girl.

It sucks that the tragedy happen but I'm not really sure I follow the logic. Would you be in favor of annihilating the whole deer species to the point of extinction? Because that to me kinda seems to be the point you're making. Again, very sad I just don't agree with what you're saying.

I saw 2 giant bucks stop within 10 feet of my stand. One was at least 10 I didn't get a great look at the other it was at least 8 and large. Came up behind me and stopped they caught my scent then took off. Sooo close I was very bummed, darn wind. There was a third little guy and later a fourth 4 pointer. I'm waiting on those giants. Saw some does but far away I won't shoot those till later in the season though.
