    I see quite a few people using the e cigarette. My SIL used it for a while but just didn't satisfy. She went back to cigs. Her husband died of COPD. years back.

    Hay bales work great. Where are all the farmer replies on this thread, LOL.

    Take fluids and drink plenty to stay hydrated. I roosted one tonight during a thunderstorm. That made for real interesting. Got soaked. Tomorrow should be good, but watch out for these pop up thunderstorms. They seem to come from know where.

    I set front bales narrow way, another set behind the long way four high. One bale in front of the works to set my 3 d or my block target on. Works good. One word of advise though, set the stings on the side so they don't rot quickly. I use hay that has got wet, as I don't like to sell that to anyone.

    This weekend should be real nice as we head back to 60 degrees. Last Sunday was hotter than a frogs hair. . I'm using feeding hens. That has brought in a jake or two. The toms just don't seem to care much any more. If all else fails, maybe the grocery can help me with a bird, LOL.

    So, here might be a full fledged stupid question to asked, but hear goes anyway. Seeing that crossbows are illegal to use in any season in NYS. right now, are they still legal to own or even have on our property? (Are their any laws here, like the NY Safe Act made for all of us turkey hunters, that are basicly breaking the law taking our Remington and Mossberg pumps a field. Their was a thread started about this. A total shock to me.). Something that was slipped through at midnight with the stroke of a pen, that know one might be aware of?

    My wife quit last june, and I'm so proud of her. She bought a 2013 vehicle and the payment is less then what she spent on smokes per month. Isn't that something!

    Expecting DMP numbers to be increasing in western WMU's, with all the deer I've been seeing. Sucess rate still a low 11%.

    It was down right chilly here. Thought the morning was going to be a bust, cause the peacocks were quiet. Edit: the turks know my so called peacock call, a blade of grass, LOL.

    My son just missed a big Tom, just clearing the top of his car windshield this morning on Rt 531. All he saw was turkey aiming straight at him, as he slammed on the brakes. Asked him if he got any pics.

    Their on the ground here by first east light. By time legal hours hit, they moved on. Got some new tricks up my sleeve. A new gobblers in town, LOL. With all this effort, I think I deserve a bird!

    I like it. I always keep the shell and tag with my mounts too. In 10 years, it will give you a reference date. This one could be extra special to you.
