While I am sure not using China to make all products is going to make things more but what know one knows is how much more I think it is a bunch of fear mongering We don't buy things like tvs and toasters every day so what if it cost a little more for them when you do buy one. At least that is the way i see it . Nothing is free anyway we buy cheep crap from China at the cost of good paying jobs and blowing up are debt. So what good is it in the long run .

I always like the Henry lever actions with the brass receiver just a beautiful looking gun Definitely one of the best at that time -
The price of freedom is sometimes some boneheads are going to abuse there freedom but that does not me the rest of the population has to live in a giant police state . Because every once in a while something bad happened because of it .

Yes but I would make it more difficult then just a simple background check for the big stuff such as a bazooka or a machine gun . Those I would reserve for the serious collector .

Year ago I saw a video on YouTube of someone shooting one of the these into a milk jug full of water. Cut a nice hole in it water leak. Out Really fast.

As long as your not a criminal pass a back ground check learn the safe way to use the weapon you want to buy you should be allowed to buy anything you want .
-
I agree to all that but good back ground checks not a bad idea . Let me put it to you this way if I have no criminal record I should be allowed to get what ever I want. Seems like some places dont keep good records of these criminals. Like that kid in Florida cops at is house 40 times and nothing comes up .same with that nut job in Texas he was known for being crazy .

Libs don't even want voter id Let alone background checks for voters
-
The background check when practical I think everyone agrees on
-
If I'm not mistaken the guys who have all the records for most confermed kills in war snipers, all used bolt guns . So those will be next I guess .
-
My guess is they already have most or all that from are smartphones already

What about DNA maybe we can all give them that and a urine sample while we're at it lol

Does Congress have to get fingerprinted? Or the general population ? Because if they don't have to get tagged like sheep why should you ? Got a passport hunting license driver's license no finger printing needed Why should just simply buy a gun for your home. Not to concealed carry be any different.
-
I don't see how making a law about large size mags Stops criminals or mass shootings ? If you are not armed one can kill just as many as long as you have ammo with even a single shot gun it's not going to make a difference if your not armed .
-
Been to a few of them the one in pa is the nicest I have been to .
-
I am for good back ground checks . But not things like gettng fingerprinted like you are a criminal just because you want to buy and shoot a pistol at a gun range or hunt with it . Or gun registrations unless you want to conceal carry that's a different story then I don't take issue with exstra regulation for those people .
-
Things are not really different , media sensationalize gun stories they're actually not common at all. But you watch cnn and they give you the impression people getting shot all the time Thats only true in Chicago and they have a gun ban there so much for that lol in my town for example it has not happend in 20 years

They had multi shot guns back when the Constitution was written they called them Pepper boxes Some had up to18 / 20 shots that I have seen online The first pepper-box revolvers originated in the 1500s and used matchlock mechanisms. The user would pre-load all the barrels ahead of time and then apply a match to fire each one in turn. By the 1790s, the firing mechanism of choice was the flintlock and Nock's of England was well known for making pepper-box revolvers using a flintlock mechanism. All these early pepper-box revolvers had no automated mechanism to rotate the barrels, so the user had to do this manually after each shot.
