I make enough for a few years supply and give it away to family/friends .I could expand a bit ,but I already have a enough on my plate .Here was an early test batch from a year or 2 ago.

With that weather I’d say get going .You may have trees dry out quicker than if you waited a bit though .

Thanks for the hands on knowledge.Sounds like a lot of time ,and potentially stress involved LOL . This has got to be extra tough leasing out of state ,besides cell cameras ,how do you know it’s not being fully utilized (hunted)when you leave ? I remember I got permission to trap a farm where they were avid coon hunters .I thought it was a bit odd and had my suspicions.After 3 days of having empty traps ,catch circles and pools of blood from animals being dispatched ,I pulled and never went back .

For me ,the stressful part is always writing the check LOL.I do relax shortly after .I do feel it’s a slimy move on the dealers part .Most dealers who are charging over ,are in the 15-25k range over ,so 5 isn’t too bad .

Yes and yes .It took me a day to think about it .I looked at the used 21’ market ,and it was a no brainer.I’ll keep my name on the list for down the road also .I would not pass up a good offer ...

Quick update for all who don’t care LOL .My Build time went from 1 1/2 years ,to being built by this April .Dealer was selling their allocations for 5k over Msrp .I figured by the time I was up to order ,prices will have gone up regardless .

Seems I hear of some good land owners who lease out in Ohio .That’s a relationship I’d want .And happy to give my money to . Im still surprised I got jumped on a bit with my initial sensible thoughts .Some guys just must be desperate to hunt anything .
