Potential Hate Crime

He stepped in it sooo bad on his post #15 that he deleted it. Total dim-witted screw up. That's the 3rd time so far that he made a fool of himself shooting barbs at me.. I'm sure it won't be the last. And I don't even have to respond to his posts to bait him. -

You're kidding me right? This has been on Facebook for a few days. The cop was almost immeditely fired & his Chief issued a public appologie so it's a pretty safe bet the cop was very much in the wrong & was acting out on his personal bigotry. The Indian gentleman was visiting his relatives & did not speak or understand English. There is a second angle from a back up car that shows how suddenly & agressively the a-hole took the guy down. It's disgusting. There is a lawsuit in the works & a fund raising effort to pay the old guy's extensive hospital bills .he is partially paralyzed. -

Wasn't directed at you rather someone else that got my posts confused & tried to shoot barbs at me thereby making a fool, of himself, again.. (Never guess who) Sorry for the confusing post. Yes he was a whacko, an atheist wacko & it appears that his motive was in large part religious (or lack thereof) motivated. -

Hey PHADE. You might want to differentiate those 2 lnks as I'm sure some of the more feeble minded trolls on here might get police brutality Good old Southern redneck "Christian" values. The KKK in uniform. Anyone "difernt" is "suspishus"! & the murder of Muslims by an atheist confused. I didn't read in detail, but I think he was rabidly anti-religion, (atheist?) & the issue is religion, not race. Definately an unstable hate monger just waiting to go off & I think the ethnic/religious/race issue could have been the catylist. That last few % points of hate that set off the trigger. The proverbial straw so to speak. There are plenty of Christians & Muslims that are of differing race & ethnic origin. For that confused dolt (that isn't mentioned or quoted on this post BTW) all I have to say is; It's so easy to expose a fool! EDIT: Looks like the fool was so embarassed that he deleted his post. I won't mention his name, but it was post #15, the one just before this one. Told ya he was easy to bait! -

Since I ignore his lunacy, Rush doesn't get under my skin or affect me in the least. It just puzzles me how anyone can take him seriousy. Kind of like Papist. -
Living so close to Quebec we get a lot of exposure to 'French Canadians". My wife works part time retail & they come over in droves. BTW: Did you know that until recently, the legal age of consent in Quebec was 14 years old?

So, even when you combine the anti-Protestant & Catholic hate crimes @ 9%, anti-Islamic hate crimes are more prevalent @ 11.6%. It would be interesting to see how the 62.4% anti-Jewish hate crimes break down. I'm sure that the majority are from Muslims, but good old fashioned Christian fundamentalsts are pretty anti-any religion that isn't there own. Only Baptists go to heaven you know. -

Legalize marijuana, it's a ridiculous policy anyway. Your bar scenerio really really doesn't hold (much) water as THC levels can also be determined if the BAC isn't high & there seems to be some other factor present. After all, the same penalties hold for driving while under the influence of prescription drug too. Yes, there is more profit margin in other drugs, but marijauna is the bread & butter, the high volume cash flow base that helps finance the rest. Decriminalize POSESSION for all others. Treatment would be far less expensive than incarceration & so far seems to have proven to be more effective in reducing drug use. http://www.tdpf.org.uk/blog/drug-decriminalisation-portugal-setting-record-straight Reduce the demand, reduce the market, reduce crime. Give the addict the option of staying out of jail dependant on successful rehabilitation. Isn't "rehabilitation" suposed to be what it's all about? Are drug addicts rehabilitated in prison? Yeah, right. Of course our "for profit" privatized "corrections" industry wants to keep inmate numbers high. It seems that most state contracts with private corrections corportions gaurantee a specific minimum number of new inmates. More inmates, more profits. Not a good way to reduce the prison poulation now is it. https://www.brennancenter.org/blog/do-private-prison-contracts-fuel-mass-incarceration Our failed war on drugs has exploded the number of people that are incarcerated for simple posession, a non violent offense, thus increasing the tax burden. Estimates are as high as 25% of the prison population. http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/269208/prison-math-and-war-drugs-veronique-de-rugy One thing is for certain, our current system is only benefiting the profit margins for privite corrections corporations at the expense of the taxpayer. -

What's the difference between Rush Limbaugh & the Hindenburg? One is a flaming Nazi gasbag, the other is a dirigible -

Rugar warrantees all of their firearms for the life of the firearm regardless of where you bought it. (Leupold has a similar warrantee policy) I once bulged the barrel very slightly a few inches in front of the cylinder on my Rugar Old rmy percussionn revolver. I had a pretty good idea how it happened. I called them & told them i had bought the gun used. They said it didn't matter where, when or how I bought it. It was warranteed for "life". They instructed me to send it in for evaluation. I also wanted the cylinder rebleued, & the grip frame repaired where the top left screw boss was cracked & was willing to pay for it. I sent it in & sure enough they determined that it was due to a slight barrel obstruction that ca,sed a momentary spike in pressure, (wax & cormeal filler) so the bill was on me. (rightfully so)They replaced the barrel, (which also required rebluing the frame)reblued the cylinder, reparied & re-anodized the grip frame (sent loose in the box) & the gun had a brand new grip frame installed. So, they essentialy installed a new barrel, repaired the broken grip frame, re-finished the entire pistol, installed a new grip frame & returned the weapon with a bill for a whopping $65. Now this was probably close to 30 years ago, but still, that's a lot of work for $65 even in mid '80s dollars. Bear in mind that they weren't obligated in any way to perform any of the work. I was very pleased W/the service I received & thought the price would have been resonable @ 2X the $65 they charged me.
