Glad to finally be out again. 31 degrees this morning. Far cry from the 70s I hunted a few weeks ago. Hearing mevement in the dark. Gonna be a good day.

Ye that looks like a deer on top of your cam. -
I had a grouse in the brush under my stand. Really wanted to take it, but it flew off before it cleared the brush.

Hunted 2.5 days in Sullivan. Day 1 i did not see a thing. Day 2 i spooked 4 deer in the morning and saw none the rest of the day. Day 2.5 saw nothing. Long weekend, but cant be mad, didnt scout this property enough. Back to Ulster i go lol.

Well my hunt week is done. Passed on a few small does. Quiet otherwise. Now i get to sit in the office going crazy till next weekend. *Sigh*

I think there is only 1 rain cloud in the county. Parked right above my stand.

Damn does. Came into about 60 yards then decided they didn't want to follow the trail anymore.

Watching a couple does. About 100 yards down the trail. Taking their damn sweet time. Hope they make it here before sun down.

Just had 4 does come in. Only a very mall one gave me a shot. I chose not to take it. As I put my bow down she spots me. And we stare each other down for a long time. She refuses to leave. And I refused to move, since I didn't want to burn the spot.

My aunt wanted to get permission for a friend of hers on a property i have access too. She was gonna talk to the owner and offer money. I went on to tell her there are no deer on the property, and ive hunted for years with little luck. So she dropped it. Lying is fun.
