I have a good friend/ gun dealer who teaches the Utah and Florida classes. Which give you a non resident permit for those two states. Which lets you carry in like 32 states or something like that. One of my friends got some in a liquidation sale. He says they really warm up nice on the HOT setting, but the battery lasts about 2 hours on that setting. Although he says that you dont really need to ever have it on high since it gets REALLY hot, and on low it lasts closer to 6 hours with the standard battery. But conversion packs are available for a larger battery. If you carry an extra battery to the field you can get it to last all day. If you have any other specific questions ill pass them onto him. Not to start an argument. But if crossbows were allowed during bow season. Wouldnt woods get filled like they do during gun season? And then it doesnt matter whether you are hunting in bow or gun season, deer are still smartened up to people in the woods.
