that's why I use a slug gun - only happy trails when they get hit with one of these babies i.e. lightfield slugs. this is the slug from my 10 pointer last year - never exited. Deer went about 15 yards. Never had a deer go more than 25 yards when hit with one of these babies.

After unexpectantly having to put my dog down on Thursday, I started to look for another rescue dog to take my mind off it. Went thru a seriously lengthy qualification process from a rescue group i.e. 50 question application, over 2 hours on the phone for multiple phone interviews, vet contact, multiple personal reference contacts and so on and was finally approved. (easier to get a gun I think....lol). So Like a dumb-ass I felt bad taking 1 pup and leaving the other behind - so I took my original pick and his brother. They are only 5.5 weeks old and I cant get them till after thanksgiving but super stoked for the double trouble I'm in for (not my first go round raising 2 pups). They are collier/australian shepard mix here they are (two white ones). And Again, seriously I thank everyone for the kind words on the loss of my little girl dog.

additional info - if you get these socks I would charge the batteries up when you get them. there is no instructions for charging but this is how it works: when plugged in the led's will start flashing. when the flashing stops the batteries are charged

I will post a pic of socks, battery, wire when my phone gets charged tried to do it now but its reading 0%. wire does not seem to bad, quality of sock seems good as well as battery. I did pay the $10 for 3 year warranty on all 3 pairs as I wasnt sure what i was getting...lol but am not unpleased with my purchase so far.

got mine from westonstore.com. today. Box is totally different than one above. Socks seem of quality value. On high setting they seem warm not real hot. Wore them in the house for awhile - are comfy - didnt feel the wires, pads under toes were not uncomfy, didnt notice/feel the battery. charged the batteries till all 3 blue lights went solid. Think they will be good under my alpaca socks in the muck boots. time will tell.

socks seem comfy, can't feel the wire, seem like a quality sock, high setting doesn't seem too hot but hard to tell until I;m in the field. might test them tomorrow if I can get out.

Update on my sock order - ordered on 11/6 being delivered today! Faster than they stated!

I woke up yesterday and my dog, who was fine the night before, had both fron legs paralyzed and no balance. Took her to the vet and gave her a steroid shot. She just got worse and had to do the deed today. Gonna miss her! Just happy I was able to give her a good life as she was a rescue dog.

too long...they shipped mine on 11/6 by dhl/usps from california. mine are slated to arrive according to dhl on 11/16. you have to email westonstore.com to get a tracking #. could receive them as late as 11/23 ugh. minimum is 8 days they say but could be as long as 14 days. i did the 3 pairs also mainly because it gives me extra batteries to use if needed.

hope so just ordered 3 pairs (buy 2 get 1 free) westonstore.com, They shipped em and i'm waitin on em. they got good reviews!

Was just at BJ's and picked up a case of hothands for $19.95 + tax - Best Price I have seen 40 cents a pair! Just letting ya know if you have a BJ's nearby!

4f....awful! pull multiple ticks off the outside cat everyday. Have to spray down (permethrin) where I hunt in 4F. Sucks!
