NY to Allow online Hunter education
Engraver99 replied to Culvercreek hunt club's topic in General Chit Chat
I dont know, following the original link in the first post i still get the same thing..just checked again..an April calendar with only a back arrow on the left top side of the calendar that only lets you go back 1 month at a time. Maybe its different on a pc if thats what you are using, am using my phone and thats what i see. Was hoping one could select month, day, year separately. -
NY to Allow online Hunter education
Engraver99 replied to Culvercreek hunt club's topic in General Chit Chat
The form sucks if you are older. You have to enter your birthday and the only way you can do that is go back 1 month at a time. So if you were born in 1960 and wanted to take the course you would have to click back each month...month by month until you got to your birthday. Who designs this jiberish. So if born on jan 1 1960 you would have to click back 724 times to enter your birthday! Geniuses! Guess they don't wsnt older people to sign up -
Hi Bill. Not sure what chemical she needs, all my engraving is done by sandblasting the artwork into stone, glass, sign foam, marble cement, etc. I'm chemical free!

I currently do the following for my own business. Sign maker; screen printing; sublimation; plaques-awards-trophy maker; stone/monument-memorial/pavers/glass/boulder/gunstock engraver; and accounting. Sample of engravings on bluestone, cement pavers, and golf signs

Interesting...i usually order thru budsgunshop.com. they deliver right to the house but wanted to increase my purchase options so signed on with target usa also. My shotgun shell order has been in shipping since 3/30 (ordered 3/27) but has not shipped yet. Hoping they are not going to pull that ny safe act dribble. I received my 22lr order from them on tuesday and never had a prob. With before...hoping for the best...stay safe thanks for letting me know sbout the delivery info.

Just a note...i am a buds team member and buds reserves anmo for its members which pretty much means you will get your order if the ammo is listed as such. If the ammo is not listed as reserved and you are not a buds team member, there is a chance your order may be cancelled since non reserved ammo may be sold out before they get to your order. Just a warning. If its not a common ammo like shotgun turkey loads..chances are you will get it, but something like 9mm, 45acp, 223 might be sold out before they reach your order if not reserved and not a member. Hence the reason i became a buds team member. Good luck with your order...hope ya get it!

Again, budsgunshop.com ships directly to your house if it is not located in the nyc area zipcodes listed on their site. Just got my ups tracking # today for ammo i ordered on 3/23.

With the exception of my deer shotgun-a bolt action browning a-bolt, i have converted my turkey shotgun and coyote shotgun over to red dots.

Budsgunshops.com ships directly to your house if not in any of the nyc Metro zip codes listed on their site

I just checked budsgunshop.com seems they have plenty of turkey loads in stock! Hope that helps

Oops I'm bad...was relying on this article https://www.nny360.com/news/publicservicenews/gun-shops-close-amid-cuomo-s-business-restrictions-during-coronavirus/article_be8c015a-2400-51a5-95fe-f81cc2c8f7c8.html

My Walmart (oneonta) sells ammo but the shelves are bare. Asked the owner of sportsman adventures about ammo said he was cleaned out. Gun stores in ny are not considered essential business and are closed. Online may have some ammo but many are cleaned out also unless it's an off calber. Try budsgunshop.com they have some ammo and ship to ny.

Corona Virus Thread

On the brighter side.....went to walmart this afternoon and they were well stocked with most things except paper goods. Was surprised i was able to get everything on my list and not hit aldi's, hannaford's, and price chopper. Also plastic bags were back! -
all my guns are locked up in the safe except for a 12 guage 870 pump that will load when picked up by the forend. I keep a combo of birdshot, buckshot, buckshot - in that order. It also sports a red dot and flashlight combo - it's my home defense gun of choice. If people breaak in and they are not running from the sound of the forend loading up a cartridge - they dumb or deaf and most certainly will be hurtin!. hope it doesn't come to that!

my ffl/gun shop is only open thur - sun. Been calling them everyday - no answer. Didn't want to take the ride just to find him closed - hope everything is ok as he usually responds to my emails even if not answering the phone. I wanted to pick up some .223 ammo (he usually keeps some stashed away for his good customers) and some 22 lr ammo and #6 shotgun shells. Tried some other shops - if they had them the prices were ridiculously high but most were out. Finally went to Buds and placed my online order for the 22's and the shotgun shells but would have preferred my local get the money. The 22's cphp were 4 cents per round (got 2200 rounds so I could at least shoot/plink) and got 5 boxes of shells which were like $6.72 per box. $31 shipping (ouch-almost 29lbs). so Buds still has some ammo left if anyone is interested - just no 556/223 ammo. Now where can I get TP? stay safe everyone!
