  I can't bring myself to get a sling either.  Although I work super close to a hunting spot and could get an hour in a tree after work.  So i think a sling would be perfect.  I have to think about it though.  They scare me too.

This sling could get very scary. Especially if your on the plump side (like me). My 2cents.

If you can hunt out of one of those more power to ya. But it looks like it could cut circulation or crush a nut with the wrong move.

Can't believe what some people would do to try to kill a deer!  If someone told me I had to dangle from a tree like that, I would just get a parachute and rent a plane then skydive to my hunting spot.  Once I was close to the ground the parachute would get all tangled up in the trees and I would pretty much have the same dangling set up as with this sling system with the added advantage of having the parachute opened above me protecting me from rain and snow.  I am sure someone could market parachutes in the assorted popular camo patterns.  The other advantage to the parachute method would be that I wouldn't contaminate the area with my scent while walking in, I would just be dropping in from the sky!

I'm on vacation at the lake so I gave it a try.  Had my wife videotape it all.  I guess it will take a bit of practice.  I surely don't want to be busted for trespassing if I land on someone else's land!!

wow im really surprised needless to say . scared of the product or just something different . ok i can understand , however always in the sling always strapped in and 9000 lbs weight capacity , thats what its rated at .huh  thats just the begining of the benefits, i will surely let u know thanks  ahh and the parachute was a nice touch
