Plot update - Some pics

Recommended Posts

Few pics I took today of the food plots. Wow a lot of tree's are down up here in Sullivan.

Anyways, the plots look like they are coming a long OK, we have had a few inches of rain the last 7 days so that has to be helping things.

These first two are from the corn plot...

The corn has'nt done to well up here this year, may grow a little taller but not to much.Thankfully we have gotten some rain I did'nt do very well with the corn that we planted.Good to see all that lush green foliage and your deer herd's will love it.

Looks goods. Corn depends if it sweet or field. Some short growing day sweet, don't get much taller. If it's field, it stunted, and will, most likely have nubs for ears. Their are some newer hybrids, that get maybe 6' to top of tassel though. Are the deer foraging the corn? The deer here use to eats the leaves right done to centers.

Actually it is regular Sweet corn, so maybe we are OK? The goal was to have plenty for us to pick and enjoy as well :)
