39th Annual National Hunting and Fishing Day Celebration at the NYSDEC Region 8 Office, 6274 E. Avon – Lima Road, Avon, NY (Two miles east of Exit 10 off I-390 on Route 5/20). Presented by Livingston County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs & New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. This annual event is aimed at the whole family. try your hand at a variety of outdoor activities, including trap shooting, archery, fly casting and canoeing. I hope it's better than the last couple years . Some vendors quit going because the DEC charged them too much for spots .

Yep. Its not the DEC charging them though. They host it, but there is a separate entity that actually runs it.

Eddie, I have seen the fees, I honestly dont see why any vendors use that excuse, its pretty cheap for the spot. I can imagine the real reason is because they require vendors to be insured, as they started being required to carry it themselves.

how did you see the fees, were you going to set up a table?

Use to go every year, but it really is no longer impressive. I'll be visiting Ohio that weekend doing some glassing and suring up ground with the farms.

I wish it were as good as it was about 7-8 years ago.
