Waiting until after the Bills / Chief's game to shoot the bow from the backyard treestand . I have a 3-D set up at 25 yards and another target set up at 15 yards . Too often I don't shoot the short 15 yard distance .

Geez ...I forgot about the game...they weren't looking so hot preseason...no fun when you can predict the games out come.....lol

Funny I just took my small 3-D out to a stand that hasn't seen much movement lately...this will give me a down hill angle as well as a very slight up hill one...with few rocks should I miss....lol

Buffalo is only 25 points ahead in the 3rd quarter . They still have time to pee the game away . Hopefully , the game will be over at 4 pm and I can get busy with the bow .

Was out working tree stands, and trimming poison ivy out of the trees since 9 am. Did they win?

I shot 2 dozen arrows from the backyard treestand . Too lazy to shoot single arrows so I messed up some fletching . Pretty much set for 25 and 15 yard shots . I have to stand to shoot at my 30 yard target as I have a cable in the way otherwise .

Bills 35 --- Chiefs 17 but the game wasn't actually close . The Bills were pathetic last week .

Glad Bills got a win behind them. Also nice to see everyone shooting arrows, without the blisters. I was out filming turkey. Real busy day. Have to practice tomorrow during the rain

Trying to make my bow hunter skills the most realist, I grabbed the bow and headed out in the rain this am.. Boy, sure felt good getting all wet shooting that bow. Felt like old times, lol. Now, the ground blind skills need attention, and should be ready for that quick arriving October 1st opener. Anyone else like foul weather bow hunting?

Last year I was shooting a few dozen arrows a day from 30-40 yards. I got my buck about 8 yards away. Come to think of it other over the last few years my longest shot was about 18 yards. I never practice shooting sitting down either and all of my deer have been shots while sitting.
