Always looking to connect with other sportsmen and make some new friendships.

This season will be very different for me being after 36 years of hunting with my dad, I will not be doing so since his passing 3 months ago.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. When I lost my Dad I had a tough time getting back in the woods. A lot of special times shared during our hunts. The time I spent in the woods that year where always at his favorite stands.

welcome to the forums. i'm a newbie to here myself. good luck this season. i don't know what that's like to fully understand but i bet it's tough as anything to endure. i hope when you hit the woods your flooded with great memories of him like it was yesterday. you've got to hang on to every one of them and continue to enjoy what was a part of both your lives. it'll get better with time.
