Well I can officially say I know have more snow on the ground at one time than I did all last year. Never even plowed once last winter. Ma nature put about 16 inches on us yesterday and overnight. Why exactly do I live in a snowbelt anyways???????? Should be interesting hunting in this stuff and getting around to stands.

i always ask myself that too....... got about the same here. ill have the snowblower bellering today. gotta get the woodstove blazing in the garage first and foremost tho. get the snowshoes out.

Got about 6" by this morning.Stayed an extra day at camp.Roads were good for the ride home.

snowblower broke . Had to fix it. blew auger all apart. kids used all my gas up. Got it up and running to just run outta gas. God i hate the first snowfall up here.

Its some of the heaviest damn snow too. Loader was even grunting away on this storm.

Just a dusting for me. I walked into the woods and spooked a few doe. Then sat for a few hour hunt. It was cool.

Hamilton County Sunday morning had a good dusting and there was lake effect snow on and off all day. Just enough snow to track and get your pant cuffs wet....

Winter is here in the North country....

Not for long mid 50's coming up. I yearn for a normal winter, this warm cold warm cold sure beats up a guys health.

Glad to hear we are not the only ones with a bunch of early snow. We got about a foot a week or so ago from a storm that also hit the Dakotas. I never plowed last winter either and we have as much now as we got all of last winter. I hope this is not a sign of what we are in store for the rest of the winter.

NOAA report said last I looked at it another mild one. Just watched weather report and calling for another week of above norm temps coming up. I really would love to have a normal or what use to be a normal winter, be nice to ice fish without fear of thin ice again. Be nice to get the sleds out for the first time in since winter of 2010/2011 too.
