PREDATE
Ah, the Peregrine. They are truly awesome. I just saw 3 bald eagles soaring over Broome County yesterday. It brings an old Bob Seger song to mind, "Roll Me Away".

erussell
Saw a bald eagle off of Penn ave in Binghamton the other day did a double take when I saw him. Usually see them down by the river but not that far from it. Also watched a Falcon today in Binghamton stalk a bunch of pigeons. He made a few passes over head and the pigeons got wise to him. shawnhu
Kissena Park? Flushing Meadows? Stuck in traffic on Parsons Blvd? Heart of Flushing, one block from the Library. Right across the street from the new Target, BJ's etc. The 6 squirrels underneath didn't seem to mind it's presence.

Are they still nesting on the security mutual building?

They're all like, " Ay yo Eagle, you come down here and there's gonna be some s**t, you know what I'm sayin'?"
Elmo
They tried to introduce a couple of red tail hawks into Battery Park many years ago to combat the pigeons and rats. One of them got beat up by a pair of perigrine falcons that had a nest right off of water street. It survived and never bother those falcons again. I worked across the street from their nest at the time. Then one day, one of the hawks mistakened a lady's chihuahua for a rat and that ended the hawks program. The two hawks got relocated upstate.
