The bigger ones are mush when defrosted...the little ones are still firm and have just a bit of green leaf showing...but I have to say...with the amount of deer dung in that field...I couldn't stomach a trial cooking...

Is it just me or in the 2nd pic does it look like a white duck on top of the skunk?

Lol.... your rt......We have a wide variety of color patterns to our skunk population...the one that crawled into the boys kennel......was blk on the bottom wht stripes from either side of face along length of body /tail then the blk strip down the middle...

 

I had one in this area...not that one...it would keep me stuck in my tree stand until well after dark..it would come out and just sit under the stand every evening...little stinker..lol

That first pic stinks!  LOL  Nice paint job on that one!  Cool pics!  Wow that buck is a brute!  Hope to see you with him later this year growalot!  Surprised they still have their antlers at that point.  Do you know when they shed them, I would figure it would be shortly after those pictures.  I know typically on the island they start to loose them after Jan.
