Your favorite hat to wear turkey hunting?

I have to wear knit caps during deer season...brim caps the brim gets in my way and my ears get cold or bitten....

During turkey season knit caps make me too warm and I like the back of my neck more covered...BUGS!...so I go with my Boonie hat...It's my favorite

Great pics! I took the "grandpups" as my daughter calls them (pup sitting)..... for a walk this morning and not only watched some huge deer browsing under the stand I shot my buck out of ...but when we walked through that area the leafs were turned and turkey droppings were a plenty ...The hill is finally coming alive with critters

I can hardly Wait...Mr.B told me I had to pic him out a nice tom to take...lol

Mine  is an old, generic brand, ball cap with a woodland pattern. I wore it  when when I shot my first spring tom, about 20 +  years ago. I don't even remember where I got the thing, but its starting to show its age. I think I'll have to find a new lucky hat soon.

I generally wear any one of half a dozen camo ball caps..

For years I wore a USMC utility cover, camo of course..It was sort my "trademark" headwear for a period of time during my earlier years of turkey hunting...For the last 20 years so, it has been camo ball caps.

One exception..If I hunt in the rain I generally wear a "radar" type Goretex camo hat..It's my standard rain headwear.
