Doc
I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone is working on new alternative sporting weapons. Take a look at what we hunt with, and even though we may think it is all modern and radical, the same basic principles remain. When I see some of the amazing wizards on U-tube that come up with some of the real radical stuff, it's only a matter of time before somebody takes on the shooting sports industry with some real wild new ways of knocking things down. Look at what they are doing with air-guns, and repeating crossbows. Some of this military crap is going to be finding it's way into sporting arms. Just amazing geniouses out there looking for the next best way to get rich of the sporting arms industry. We can't even imagine what's coming next .... lol. Culvercreek hunt club
Good Point Doc. When you look at the mechanics of a cartrige, it really hasn''t changed since the Civil War. Think of all the other advances and there has been baby steps in cartrige technology compared to other industries. My Grandfather was alive from the first flight at Kittyhawk through landing on the moon. Amazing what a few generations have witnessed. jesse.james
There is a guy using 3d printers to print lowers for AR 15s. His first attempt the lower only lasted for 6 shots. His next version went 600 rounds before he ran out of bullets. Pretty nifty that we will be able to print the things we want or need. Pygmy
Cool, Culver...You could shoot down ducks and microwave them at the same time.. When they hit the water they'd be broiled "medium rare"...

phade
I'm just happy these weapons were developed an made and not much was publicly known about them beforehand until the public release. Just like the stealth choppers...rumors, but no sightings, etc. Until...bam, dead OBL. It's not easy keeping such secrets in today's technological world.
