Pygmy
"Sweet rig"???? What are you guys smoking??Early...For once you and I AGREE about something...LOL... Pardon me while I go fondle a piece of nicely figured walnut and fantasize about wrapping my gnarley old fingers around Jack O'Connor's custom Al Biesen .270.... josephmrtn
Those are cool too dan!!! but I LOVE the modern sniper rifle look too!
Pygmy
Everybody's taste differs, Joe, and that's a GOOD thing. Many younger guys like yourself like the modern tactical look, while some of us OLD farts prefer more classic firearms with pretty walnut stocks and bright blued finishes. I personally think that the tactical stuff is as ugly as a side order of s**t...<<GRIN>>.... They may be accurate, dependable, and effective, but man, are they YOOO- GLEE !! Life is too short to hunt with an ugly gun.

But a can appreciate the modern stuff for its accuracy and durability . Before you know it they wont even make the wood stock rigs anymore. It will all be tupperware. dbHunterNY
seeings how we're talking about dream guns.... I want a Gunwerks LR-1000 shooting system chambered in 7mm LRM with the long range package, titanium action, barrel fluting, and muzzle break. I want to still hunt with it but want something with all the work already done to be capable at 1000 yards on anything in North America.
