Dropping fawns?

I've got a set of twins on the ground already down in the creekbottom. I can count on that spot every year to hold a few fawns!

I've seen them 3x's so far since last week but only managed to get a few pics I'm not real happy with. Hoping they wont be as shy by the end of this week so I can get a few new close-ups!

A friend of mine was turkey hunting last week. He was walking down a hedge row when a big doe popped up from the tall grass less than fifty yards to his left. He said that she didn't run but kept stomping and blowing at him. He just walked right by her and she never left. He said he was pretty sure that the doe had a fawn laying in the grass with her.

My camera settings got bumped all out of whack before I fired off my first fawn shot of 2013 earlier this week. I accidently flashed him (they don't like that, lol) and the focus was way off, so it's a little rough.

Planning on a fawn photo hunt tomorrow under better (sunny) conditions.
