Preference Points

Just wondering if an individual could check online somehow if he/she has preference points for last year or before ?  I know you can ask where you get the license but It would help in the DMP decision making before going to buy the License !

Not sure if there is another source for that info. It would be wise to make a list of your choices according to whether or not you have points.

I'd go crazy if I had to deal with preference points for DMPs. I have some pity for those that do and those that don't even get DMPs.

 

When I think of preference point, I think of Iowa. I've got 1 point, lol. 2015 can't come soon enough.

yeah, preference points were required in my area for about 3 or 4 years, so a dmp every other year was about normal..........add antler restrictions into that mix and you can guess the rest............it's why I devote more time to bow and muzzleloader season and rifle is just out of tradition at this point.

I think it is all a bunch of BS, In the past I would apply for areas with very low chances of getting a permit so I could build up enough points to apply for an area I wanted a permit for. Last year my area was a very slim chance of getting a permit.I applied and got one.This year I applied even though the chances were worst then last year.I got one for this year also.
