i shoot 4'' plastic vanes went to the pro shop he didn't hve any so he made arrows w/ 2'' blaser vanes is there a difference i  shot both the 4'' vanes seem more forgiving where to 2'' seemed faster both shot well but the blaser vanes react to a bad release more than the 4''

Yes , the new short vanes are less forgiving . Less surface area therefore less ability to stabilize arrow flight.

It was explained to me that with fixed broad heads the longer vanes are better. Use the shorter if your shooting mechanicals. Just what I was told.

I shoot fixed blades with Blazers. They are just fine. The Blazers are more durable than the longer vanes.

If you are shooting a whisket bisket you will want Blazers.  I shoot fixed blades.  I switched to Blazers about 5 years ago and I'm never going back.

thank you for the responses it i do shoot the rage and a whisker bisquet i shot well w/ both w/ field points when get  a chance i'll  shoot the rage b' heads practice head just never shot the blasers so i go to  you guys to get an honest anwser  ill  keep shootin'
