CuseHunter
It would be nice if he wanted to plant some clover and winter oats as a hobby too

growalot
Just make sure it's in the deed that you maintain hunting rights with in 500 ft of any farm buildings.....or you may end up being sorry down the road...especially if they resell
PREDATE
Woodchuck- how many acres are in your parcel and is the bothersome neighbor really close enough to smell a few pigs? Growalot brought up a good point about the possibility of them re-selling. How long do you think the retirees will be up for hobby farming? bubba
I do not think you can pout in a deed where you can hunt. I am sure I will be told I am wrong but that would have to be settled with each land owner. Maybe they are buying it for him to shut you out. And btw you can hunt within 500 feet legally without permission, you need permission to discharge a firearm..
Culvercreek hunt club
The deed would not be the vehicle to accomplish this. The sale could be made contingent on the execution of another contract about the hunting rites.

Growalot brought up a good point about the possibility of them re-selling. How long do you think the retirees will be up for hobby farming? just over 50 acres. house is 50ft off of line. I am checking on what I can put in the deed. I know they wont do it forever but I will see if there is a way to have first dibs if and when they decide to sell. I have to get everything surveyed so it wont be a done deal for a little while but we will see.

bubba
And remember that contract will only apply to the current owners. If they sell, the new owners do not have to honor it
