No more opening weekend for me...

I just looked at my schedule for the army and noticed my November BA is the Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of opening weekend. This sucks ????

Sorry to hear  that you won't be able to hunt the opener.

 

I've been a lucky feller.. I have been in the woods every opening day of  NY firearm deer season since 1965, plus most of the PA openers as well.

 

I even managed to get leave for deer season when I was on active duty in the Navy.

we had our drill in boston canceled last month due to the whole government shut down... Made me mad, we are going to do weapons qual and play with the big boy toys
