Big Bear

My boss sent me the picture this morning. I asked the same thing! I looked at it in the pic and nearly wet myself to think that, that thing was roaming the woods! She said that in the morning they were debating taking a quad into the woods, but in my opinion bringing the quad was a smart idea.

Sorry................not buying this one at this time. I've killed several bears with bow and rifle and this just don't stack up for me. First thing is any bear weighing that much is rare exception. And for a female to grow that large is beyond what I can accept as possible. Second thing is, if that bear was anything like the others I have been around on the back of a 4 wheeler, they are big floppy ,  hang to the ground type animals. That thing there looks like it's taxidermy stuffed! Lastly, if you put a 600 pound bear on a 4 wheeler, there will be no room for anyone to drive it out, and it would be  squashed down pretty good, which does not appear to be happening in the picture.  Maybe it's real, but I doubt it.

I am just the middle man here. I was no where near this hunt. I don't know if its 100% real or w.e. I also do not want to question the man who shot it and irritate the guy by bombarding him with questions. When she sent me the text  I had some questions about it but I thought I would simply just share the pic I relieved with the little information I got from her. But from the straps they have all over this animal the compression it makes, appears it is real.

@Biz- I am not sure about that. I have never been to their house or really ever talked to her on what she owns. When I am able to get into contact with her. Ill have to ask her. That will be one of the many questions I will have to ask her. I wont be at work for another week, but ill text her to find out the details about the harvest and the machinery used.

The drive(rear) axle of a quad are always straight. The springs/shocks are between the axle and the frame. There is usually a good 8 inches between the top of the tire and the wheel well/fender. This looks like the fender would be rubbing on the tire.
