I dont think this would be really safe, esp if you drop and arrow out of your stand and it lands facing you.  Would be cool for hunting hogs though.

I believe that device would be illegal in NYS as per the following-

 

From the Environmental Conservation Law of New York, Title 9, figure11-0901 paragraph 3f:

No wildlife shall be taken with an arrow with an explosive head ........

 

That thing likely would fit the definition of an explosive head.

Yep, Melissa Bachman actually showed them at the ATA show last year I think it was, but they have been around in one form or another for longer. Great for hogs.
