just hung up my 45 black powder that I got from a buddy I can't shoot it but I do use it when I am teaching a hunter safety class

I have one just like it and have taken a few deer with it, nice gun for sure.....and they get a pretty decent price for them these days, one of the few guns I have that have actually gone up in value.

Had one many years ago, gorgeous gun for sure! Just too much "bling" for me to take out into the woods. Opted for the dressed down Renegade, which I still have.

May I ask why you can not shoot it?  I had one for a few years sold it to a buddy kicked my but ever since.  I have a 50 hawken and 54 renegade. just acquired a new englander 12 gauge 50 and 54 barrrels.

when I got the 45 the barrel was all rusty took me about 3 days to clear the rust out of it I don't know how much damaged was done to it . I have a 50 cal. Hawkins that I hunt with   the 45 I will use for my hunter safety class's
