wellsville trout derby

is any one going to the wellsville trout derby next month? Its april 26th and 27th I've been up there for the derby twice in the past 4.years its a blast party all night and figh all day

Not me Red.  I'd sure enjoy it as I've seen the crowds in action.........years a go we'd slide through Wellsville on the way to Pennsylvania for opening day of turkey hunting.  Good times for us and it looked like the fisherman were having their fair share of laughs too.

I learned how to fish in that area , we camped every weekend just outside wellsville in shongo , i fished the graves road bridge as far back as my memory will go.

There is some fine trout water there.

Years ago I lived in Whitesville for a couple of years and fished the Genny a lot around Shongo and Stannards.

I still try to get out there a couple of times a season, especially when the mayflies are hatching in May and June.

A co-worker of mine used to go to Wellsville area to trout fish in spring. He would hit the Graves rd. bridge among other stops. He would use meal worms for bait.

Yea the Naples derby was today wellsville is in a few weeks anybody get anything in Naples????
