Man! The critters sure do like that spot. It doesn't look like a spot that has big enough trees for a tree stand. Great spot for a pop-up ground blind.

Nice looking spot. I wouldn't hang a stand there. I would carry in a hang on when needed and only hunt it a few really good days. Why burn it out if you don't have to.

Any trees are too small and too open for a chain-on or ladder stand . I plan to put an Ameristep Quad-Pod on the pond bank next to some high bushes so I can see into the area east of the pond and overlook the horse trail . If I get it up early enough , the deer should get used to it ............
