Had a great day this past Saturday. I got this guy around 7:40 when I called him in accompanied by a jake and 2 hens, which I thought was kind of odd, but I'll take it. He had an 8" beard and 7/8" spurs, I know I'm not in the running because I cant go out again, but I want to congratulate all the members for putting up some really nice birds and a very big THANKS to WNY Buck Hunter for putting it all together.

Nice bird, congrats on putting one down. Been having a tough time calling in another for myself any one for my buddy.

I have had up and down luck, unfortunately every time I had down luck I was with my son. I would rather see him shoot one than me. 

 

I called one in for a friend ( his 1st ever ) and for another friends son.....my boy thinks I am mad at him or just a black cloud when he's hunting with me, we had good action and made some memories, and that's what it's all about.

17-19 # I would guess. I got 2 huge pieces of breast meat, prob about 2-3 lbs each.
