One antlered buck

One antlered buck taken yesterday… his skull shows weird calcified bone growth above his eye and a fractured skull where he lost his antler.  Always amazing how tough they are.

That's pretty cool. I would assume 1.5 so that was done this year? Quick heal time it seems? That's crazy for bone to calcify like that in response to injury.

  I was getting pics of one on my cams last year, figured he'd had it knocked off when it was small and in velvet. This year, more pics of a unicorn, I assume the same one.
