does anyone practice any qdma in 7 p

My father has a place off of 235 in harpursville outside coventry.  I try to at least shoot 8's or better but i dont know about anyone else.

Good luck in your QDM.  We only have 30 acres and cant imagine it doing any good but i am sticking to my guns.

Keep doing it I have 70 in Oxford and it is working. I also got two neighbors to do it now we have 150 acres.

I have a place in afton and I can tell you that by me locals shoot anything and everything.

Rules at my place

1.you must take a doe before you can take a buck

2.eight points or better

3.must be at least 3 years old

In addition to my food plots I plant at least twenty trees a year.oaks,cedars,honey locust and other native species.if you follow basic guidelines and really stick to them you will see improvements.

I have done it more or less for the last three yrs. Mature deer only. 190 ac. Seems like the right idea. Increase avg. age of herd.

I would consider long face does mature and bucks more by body shape/size and mass of antlers rather than a set number of pts.

i have only 20 acres and i have state forest on three sides. i don't have any specific rules that i follow. but, i usually pass up small bucks and does- unless it's been a while since i've taken a deer.
