Man they are vicious little suckers, they are eating that Python alive. Did not realize they lived in such large groups.

The python has a mongoose coiled up in the middle and I can't tell if it got away in the end.  The group on top seemed to be trying to get that mongoose free.  What a battle.

When I was stationed in Hawaii I would often see a dead mongoose flattened in the road being guarded by its' mate. This would often lead to the death of both. I never saw more than 2 at once- and my unit spent a lot of time in the field.
