Hey all other than the normal baked boiled barbeque chicken what other idea's do you have?

With chicken only?

 

Beer can chicken on grill or smoker. Put butter and rub under the skin, some rub and spices in half a can of beer, Prop up chicken with beer can inserted. Really tender stuff

I like to season it, with "Bucks"... sear it on high heat on the grill and then wrap it loosely  in tin foil (seal it up but leave space for air) add 1/2 can of beer in with the chicken. Lower heat and slow cook until tender.

X2 on the beer can or shoot it up with seasoning juices & put it in a turkey fryer. Chicken soup works!

The beer can sound's good but wont the paint effect the meat

marinade in teriyaki sauce over night in strips.... frying pan with some hot oil until cooked...don't over cook

 

cook down some onions and long hots (peppers) and then cover the chicken with them... cover everything in Monterey jack cheese (or your favorite cheese) and let it melt over the top...mmmmm one of my favorites!!!

You only use low heat ,  200 degrees or so. In fact when it's done you can pull out beer can by hand and only a bit warm to the touch
