Tiny Doe this time of year!

Doe must of been bred real late with the size of this fawn. Taken today!

I have definitely seen some small deer this winter. 2 fawns I’ve seen almost Dailey driving on 90 near pembrook exit. They live in the middle of the thruway. Still had spots in October and are very small as of last week when I seen them again. It’s crazy they are still hunkered in the middle of the thruway.

Lots of them that size in some parts of the island.  I see them all the time and think the same thing "Why are they still so small?" I know there's too many of them for the carrying capacity, but they can't have "adapted" the quickly.

Hell we saw some come in with spots on them during shotgun season in January. Breeding cycle is extended. Glad to see she made it!
