vacuum Sealer Recommendations

Can any of the guys here that use vacuum sealers recommend one? I'm buying one this year and looking through Amazon reviews. They are not encouraging.

How long have you had them?  It seems like everyone's works great for about a year.  Then a month after the warranty expires it stops (or starts) sucking.

Cabelas.  I have tried several others and they all break.  Cabela's has been going strong for 3 yrs

Not sure of the brand, but i got mine at Costco years ago and it's still working fine.  And, Costco has a very liberal (bad word) return policy- they take anything back, pretty much no questions asked.  So, if you ever have a problem, you just bring it back.

I've had my Foodsaver for years , works great with Foodsaver bags , generic bags are cheaper but don't work as well

My Cabelas sealer has been in use quite rigorously for at least 4 years if not longer, Probably closer to 5+

what I like about the Cabelas is that it comes with several replacement seals and other wear parts also

I have a Black and Decker, Ive been using it for 12 years now. I almost want it to die so I can get one of the newer ones with more features, then again, this thing works great, so Ill stick with it.

I'm cheap !   This is how I do it year after year  except I fill the sink for more pressure   works good

I have had a Foodsaver Vac330 for longer than I can remember. 12-15 years still working like the day I got it!

 

I buy rolls of the bags online for cheap and they work fine.

 

I have been waiting for it to die so I can get one with all the gadgets too but oh well!!
