Same by me hardly any apples , very few acorns the last 3 years.even the wild blackberries were very few this year., have a few small plots, There are a few deer that hit the plots and bed down in the area but they are less then 2 years old and have 2 fawns . The deer heard by me is 75% less then 5 years ago.

The coyote population has skyrocketed in this area. I live in the suburbs of 4J off of font grove rd and have coyotes running through the backyards of houses almost every night this time of year. Two years ago is about when we started seeing them and it seems like there are more and more each year. There are still plenty of bruisers around though. Keep to it

I am new to this blog but I can tell you that 20 years ago 4J was like a game farm for dear I would see 10-20 deer everyday at least 5 were bucks chasing does. This was over off Kings road in the pine bush....now I'm lucky to see a deer! I have a suspicion Encon has been either killing them off or doing something to cut the population down because the insurance companies were crying about having to pay out every time there was a deer/ car accident. I say this because there are less and less hunters every year yet the deer pop has dwindled to nothing in that area. So someone is killing the deer and it's not the hunters.

Hey Everyone! This is Louis Backlas/ Cross Over the River Outdoors. I just posted a new video to my YouTube channel that I though ya'll might get a kick out of! Have you ever used a decoy to hunt whitetails? If you haven't before you might want to start! I woke up one morning and look out my front window only  to find that my 3D deer target was in pieces all over the front lawn! A fired up buck decided to take his frustrations out on the target!  this took place sometime in November during the peek of the rut. Hope ya'll get a kick out of it!

      Hey all,
I’m wondering if anybody uses any local butchers to process their meat for them? If so, I was wondering if I could get a gauge on prices and/or overall experience? In years past I have just driven my deer up to my home in Northern Washington County but with my schedule this semester of school it looks like doing so will be tough. Thanks in advance and good luck in the woods!

They can create all the Illegal laws they want, it has been proven that gun owners would rather become felons with guns than to be victims of a corrupt Government that want to take away our rights.  Facts do not lie and we will not comply!

What is Cuomo going to do?  NOTHING!!!  He should stick to banning soda to save us.  So effective!  True savior of NY, LMAO.  Funny how abstract they get when power is at hand, like thinking you have a ticket to heaven on the fast track because you banned soda or guns.  That is a good one!

Funny how he has guns to protect him at all times yet he feels it is OK to take away your guns.  Double standard?  You better believe it!
