Pygmy
50 for me....Even when I was on active duty in the service I was lucky and managed to get leave for the first week of deer season. There was one year in the 1970s when the temperature on opening day was down near zero and my oil furnace quit working. I had to quit hunting about 9 AM opening day to go home and get the furnace going so my pipes didn't freeze...BUT I was in the woods when the season opened. As I remember the only deer I saw that day were some saw from the truck as I was driving home to work on my furnace. genesee_mohican
36 years with a gun in my hand but a solid 8 years added on just tagging along with my Dad before I was old enough to get a big game license.
FX62
36 years here as well and 38 with a bow. Still have trouble sleeping the night before. Sharing them with my son and dad when he can make it.....priceless!
