Anyone hunt the new Kings Park area yet?

No but my buddy lives right there and sees deer every day. Be careful a lot of protesting from the anti's there.

It is a small area with only one car with two hunters allowed at a time. Archery only.

Yeah, lots of them. My backyard garden was raided by them once, they cleaned everything including the mushrooms.

You might be better off dropping your gear off , then parking. I'm sure that the anti hunters will probably be screwing around with anyone parked there. Maybe leave a trail cam on video setting inside your car or across street. The treehuggers always called police in spots out east for no reason, just to screw up your hunt.

I have scouted and hunted it since I live less than a mile away.

I saw live deer only twice. It went quiet a few weeks ago.

There are lots of hikers and dog walkers.

The anti's are really messing with peoples hunts out there. Give it a shot but you almost guaranteed to run into an anti or have them fund you and harass you. I think ill give it a shot out there next year too.

The location is busy. There is usually a hunter every time I pass.

I take the time to drive out east because I am more likely to see deer out there.

Heard there wasnt much success there and the anti's gave everyone problems all the time. Scout it and see what you think.

Why doesn't someone have the anti's charged for disrupting and harassing hunters?

They do, but man those guys have some real conviction when it comes to this. You get rid of one there will be 3 more to take that persons place.

There are momster deer in King's park area but not really on that state property. Might be good early season but once it gets over hunted deer move out of there quick.

I have checked it out but always had a hunter in the spot.  Looks like a good early season spot.

I have the local DEC agent's number in my contacts.

They will investigate harassment issues when called.
