Doc
I'm a bit confused. What exactly is happening here that prompts this resolution? It sounds like trouble. And why is it only region 8 that is reacting? it sounds like a statewide structure change (if I'm reading it right).
MuzzyLoader
I agree Doc... looks like conflicting purposes 'twix the two departments, and joining them together could be a recipe for disaster for all involved.

bpb
FWMB each area has one. they are comprised of sportsmen, clubs from the region. We also have a CFAB at the state level all volunteer. Region 8 drafted a resolution which will be presented to the other's probably at the Spring NYSCC meeting. I figure once the other regions see 8's they will either adot it in full or write their own similiar to 8's. You all should attend the meetings if they are in your area. Its a good way to keep on top of a few items.

This board functions to create public hunting and fishing access. The FWMB is mandated by state statue.
