Late season rut???

I'm seeing more and more posts of guys shooting bucks late in the season hot on does. If Charlie A. was right this would be the time for the second rut, may be a good weekend ahead of us boys!

im going to try and sneak out for a bow hunt this weekend. its been well over a month and half since i last sat this set so i would like to see what happens!

Season is now over in the North. But, I had a guy that works for me com into work tonight and say he has a 10 point chacing does at his feeder tonight.

Just got off the phone with my neighbor to the North. He watched a big buck breed a doe last Saturday but had no shot. Saw them again on Sunday and hit the deer but did not find it. Thinks he grazed the leg. Hope they keep it up into the weekend.

When you set up those turkey feeders if you put a bar across where those deer, I mean turkey come into feed it helps to knock off the antlers late season. I mean turkey, awe I'm all screwed up. Just try it.

A friend just called me from upstate to tell me that his son shot an 8 pointer this morning.  The buck was with seven does and a big 13 pointer that they know of.  Unfortunately for his son the big 13 never presented a shot before they would have all been out of sight.  Can't complain too much about an 8 this late in the season though.  Congrats to him!!
