Lawdwaz
Keep the mac, no interest here. I won't eat it.............. EVER. It is about the ONLY thing I won't eat though! We ate early tonight due to kids flying in & out of the house and work schedules. Breaded pork chops, broccoli and sweet potato. Starvation ain't gonna kill me............................ Grow, Any good recipes for fiddle heads? I always see them at the farmers markets and never knew what to do with them. I have always heard good things though. growalot
Just a good washing..they have a paper like brown skin...no soap!!! We managed to take the kids one year and picked around 5#'s...I put them in the sink to soak and went to change our son. Our daughter who was 3 decided to help Mommy and put Palmolive dish soap in the basin to wash our bounty...ya.... never quite got all the soap rinsed out...LOL They taste very similar to asparagus and I just steam them and add butter and sea salt...very healthy and delicious....
